It Begins with an Idea. Take Action!

Do you think before you act?  I know, cliche`.  But do you?  Most of our actions are conscience.  We have a thought, however brief, and then act on it in some way.  I believe this is universal.  We all have ideas.  Big ones.  Little ones.  Some of us are geniuses.  Some of us have tons of common sense.  Others don’t.  We all contribute to the chain of events that are Life.  In all those jumble of ideas there are some truly amazing and some mundane.  I have many of both every day.  Don’t you?

Some people have AMAZING ideas and when implemented change the lives around them for the better.  Even if only in a very small way.  It still counts.  Below are two videos.  One is  by a Group called Life Vest Inside (check them out here).  The other is a commercial that has been circling Facebook about a man in Thailand, inspiring and making people smile. It’s just an insurance commercial.  Or is it?  I think it is the product of someone’s great idea that met with others who shared the same vision.  This is something WTC is meant to provide more of.  A place to help others and be helped.  Make friends.  Teach each other.  There are people out there of every nationality that share the same creative ideas and dreams that you do.  Wouldn’t you love to find a mentor, no matter where they might reside?  Or think of how good it would feel to BE the mentor?

There may be folks out there that don’t feel inspired to help others.  That don’t feel the tug at their heart when they see the smile on a face that, until that moment, had known only sadness.  But for the most part, this world is FILLED with giving people.  We just get carried away with our daily grind.  We get so stressed about what WE are lacking that we forget that there are others with less.  We get swept away in worries.  Then, we see someone have an “Aha!” moment and spend the last bills in their wallet to buy a homeless person a meal.  Or stop in our rush from point A to point B to put a smile on a fussy child’s face.

There are tons of sites on the web with this theme but we find most of them at random, rather than knowing where to look.  What if all those organizations, people with ideas similar to our own, could be found in one place?  What if there was a venue for us to meet and share ideas without having to pay anything?  Even if that person or group was on the opposite end of the Earth?  World Tree Circle is meant to do that.  Help us gather a team of experts on electricity, water, or architectural design from the Renaissance.  Whatever your interest, you can probably find at least one that shares your interests.

We’re looking for some of those people with great ideas to do something similar now.  Help us bring the people of the world together in one “room”.  Think how good each small act of kindness you see or do makes you feel.  Now think how amazing you would feel if you were a part of making World Tree a reality…… Help us plant the seed that will grow in to the biggest, most friendly and comfortable tree with a branch made for each of us to call Home……

scavenger hunt

According to Wikipedia – “A scavenger hunt is a game in which the organizers prepare a list defining specific items, which the participants – individuals or teams – seek to gather all items on the list – usually without purchasing them – or perform tasks or take photographs of the items, as specified.[1] The goal is usually to be the first to complete the list, although in a variation on the game players can also be challenged to complete the tasks on the list in the most creative manner.

According to game scholar Markus Montola, scavenger hunts evolved from ancient folk games.[2] Gossip columnist Elsa Maxwell popularized scavenger hunts in the United States with a series of exclusive New York parties starting in the early 1930s.[3][4][5] The scavenger-hunt craze among New York’s elite was satirized in the 1936 film My Man Godfrey.

Notable scavenger hunts include the University of Chicago Scavenger Hunt and the annual Tricadecathlonomania, a 24-hour worldwide event that began in Northfield, MN.[6] Now in its tenth year, Race/LA and CityRace produce Amazing Race-style scavenger hunts throughout southern California.[7] Scavenger hunts can easily be played either outdoors (around town, parks, back yards, etc.) or indoors (malls, houses, shops, etc.).[8]”

How about we provide a worldwide scavenger hunt in which you will need to communicate with people from other countries to get the correct answers to the clues given? We could provide a forum for people to be able to ask questions and post answers.  It could be possible for people to pose questions to specific countries, regions, or groups of people.   Scavenger hunts are always a great time for all.  Even if you don’t win, everyone usually ends up having a blast.  This one has the potential of being particularly fun because of the inherent challenges as well as getting to meet new organizations and individuals in order to gather the necessary information.  The content should be intriguing real world content that will not only entertain but also provide supplemental knowledge for participants.
